Thankful for the Journey: Sarah and Isaiah's Story
Isaiah — Born 2019
At 26, Sarah was a single mother of three when she discovered she was unexpectedly pregnant. The baby’s father insisted she have an abortion. Caught in a moment of fear and pressure, Sarah took the first pill in the chemical abortion regimen.
But as soon as she got home, the weight of the decision overwhelmed her. “I couldn’t even look at my other children without breaking down,” she said. “I kept thinking, this baby deserves love just as much as they do.”
Determined to find help, Sarah discovered the Abortion Pill Rescue® Network, powered by Heartbeat International. She was quickly connected to a nearby doctor who began the Reversal protocol, and later, a local pregnancy help center for continued support. Within days, her baby’s heartbeat was strong, and Sarah’s hope was restored.
“I wanted to try whatever I could to reverse the worst decision I had made.”
Sarah gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Isaiah in January of 2019, and she says that the experience completely changed her life.
“I have never been more grounded in my faith, nor blessed.”
In her journey, Sarah’s faith has been renewed and strengthened. Her home is now a place of peace and joy, rooted in prayer, guided by faith, and sustained by trust in God’s providence.
The blessings continued. In 2020, Sarah was honored as a recipient of Heartbeat’s Unplanned Movie Scholarship, an award celebrating courageous moms pursuing their education. She completed her training as a licensed massage therapist. Today, she owns her own massage therapy business, is fulfilling her passion, and providing for her family.
Now, Sarah is building a life rooted in hope and strength. Her son, Isaiah, a lively, adventurous, and joyful little boy, fills their home with laughter and energy. He adores his older siblings, loves school, and has a deep passion for sports, especially basketball. With a ball in his hands and big dreams in his heart, Isaiah already talks about playing in the NBA one day. His life is a beautiful reminder that one courageous choice can have a lasting impact on future generations.
